High School Playbook

 We lost to Monrovia! It's super sad! Though coaches and boys had an awesome and wonderful season though! I'm super proud of them all though. They made Paoli super proud and did a bunch of wonderful things this season. Monrovia was a really good football team and I hope they do well at state because next year it will be our turn. Good job boys, you had an awesome season!!!

 Paoli won their first ever regional championship ever!!! Even though that doesn't always mean much because technically we won the first three game sectional (the last team only had to play one game). Anyways, it doesn't matter because it's awesome and the boys have worked super hard and earned everything they have gotten. I'm very proud to go to Paoli. Good luck, boys, against Monrovia. I know you can kick their butt. Win Semi-State!!!!!!!!

Spirit of the Week: West Washington

Mark Brown won a state title when he was a head coach at Nelson County, the last big school to win a title outside of Jefferson County.

He moved on to John Hardin when the school opened in 2001. With the Bulldogs, Brown has built another winner.

The Bulldogs have won 24 games the last two seasons. Last year, they made it all the way to the semi-finals of the Class 5A playoffs.

This season, the Bulldogs are again contenders to win the state title after starting off 8-0.

They're doing it with offense by scoring 41 points a game and they're doing it on the defensive side of the ball by holding their opponents to just 10 points a game.

Quarterback Alex Dingle is one of the top passers in the state.

Friday night, the Dawgs play Bullitt Central for the district title and a 9-0 record.

The Bulldogs wrap up the regular season next Friday against county rival Central Hardin.
