Anderson County was bent on winning another regional title this year. Their offense and defense backed their claim up too. They played Henry County on thursday for the Regional Championship and won 11-3. They dealt a devastating blow to Henry in the 1st inning getting five runs, while Henry tried to call their bet, but failed only getting 2. Anderson's offense was excellent with every player hitting the ball right into their sweet spots between 3rd base and left field and 2nd base and center field. They were scoring just about every inning and pushed ahead all the way to 9-2 in the 3rd. Henry put on a new pitcher to slow down Anderson's hitting game, but it was futile. Anderson advanced their total to 11, while henry was only able to pick up one more run. Their shut-em-out defense was lead by #1, Ryan Pike, but his fielders picked up any slack he may have given the the wildcats.
