Trinity's won a Kentucky record 19 football state championships, but it’s never won a baseball state title.
That could change this week!
The 8th ranked Rocks have a 25-10 record this season.
They play No. 19 Harrison County Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in Lexington.
It's a rematch of a game the Rocks won last month.
Trinity is the highest ranked team in Kentucky left alive. It's reached the state title game twice, in 1983 and 2002, but never won.
The winner of Thursday's game advances to a Friday semifinal against Lexington Catholic or Marshall County.
The Kentucky state baseball championship game is in Lexington Saturday night at 7 p.m.
